Manufacturing of speciality condiments for popular lifestyle and catering brands
Catercorp already has a strong reputation in the retail and wholesale industry. Our brief was to create a social media platform to grow brand awareness in the consumer market.
What we delivered
A number of Catercorp’s products are distributed to retailers, particularly supermarkets and butcheries. We were tasked with connecting with consumers to grow their awareness of these products, which can be purchased on the shelves, or which are used as spices and marinades at butchery counters. In particular, Catercorp’s Sauce-a-Licious and Nou Gaan Ons Braai brands are becoming increasingly popular for leisure meals.
We developed a specific brand design for all the company’s social media posts and rolled out a campaign around great braai experiences in all demographic sectors. The result has been increased traffic to the company website, with spikes in website visits and phone calls to the company occurring on days where there is high social media engagement. We also upgraded the images on the Catercorp website, as an interim measure, while the company plans for a new website to be developed in 2019.
